People are often discussing ways to be more balanced in life use the term ‘be present’. What exactly does that mean? Afterall we are living a life at this present time.
It means that we can get distracted by so many things going on in our lives. It could be through relationships, a job or even just trying to complete everything on the daily schedule. We lose our sense of wonder and joy getting caught up with so many different things.
For me it’s the constant chatter in my head that brings up worries and the feeling of being overwhelmed. At this specific moment it is so beneficial to be present. To take a few deep breaths, with every exhale to release the thoughts and worries. Just feeling the movement of my breath.
As you continue this breathing it brings you back into your body where you are at this present moment. Your mindset shifts from overcrowded thoughts to a natural fl
owing breath pattern. When you are focusing on your breath it allows for all those thoughts to just drift away. You begin to feel your body in this moment as you breathe.
This is the precise moment you are present. You are allowing the natural order of life to happen. You are breathing energy and life into your body and reminding it of the wonderful life you have been given. Recognizing how grateful you are to be present, living a beautiful life, healthy, happy, feeling love and abundance. This mindset of not remembering the past or looking to the future, just being still in this moment. This is what it means to be present.
