For the past few months, I’ve been having a quiet conversation with myself. The same question keeps coming up: Should I share more about what I’m truly feeling?
Does this sound familiar to you? Do you ever hold back from sharing your truth—whether online or in your daily life—because of the fear of being criticized or misunderstood?
Since opening Common Opal Studio, my intention has always been to create a safe space for healing, compassion, and kindness. At first, I thought that meant keeping everything very neutral—soft, digestible, and politically correct. But the truth is, I have deep feelings about what I see happening in the spiritual and wellness world.

I’m not here to call anyone out. I’m here to speak honestly, with integrity, from my own heart. My alignment may not be yours, and that’s okay. We each walk a unique path, shaped by our culture, family, trauma, and life experiences. No two stories are alike—and that’s the beauty of it.
When I hold in-person sessions, I often remind clients: If this doesn’t resonate, leave it behind. I’m not attached. You get to choose what you take with you. It’s the same here. Free will is the gift we all carry.
What I’ve realized is that my voice doesn’t need to please everyone. I’m not here for a million followers. I’m here to connect with the people who feel aligned, even if that’s just one person who hears something they’ve never considered before.
This means I’m ready to go deeper. To ask harder questions. To share truths that might make some people uncomfortable. Because life itself is uncomfortable at times—and how we respond to that discomfort is where growth happens.
So here I am, releasing the veil, stepping into more of myself. Not for validation, not for approval—but because it feels aligned. I know who I am, and I’m proud of the path I’ve walked.
I’ll end with this: there’s no one right way to live, heal, or grow. Anyone who tells you otherwise might be worth questioning. You are the only person who can answer for your life.
The question is: Are you ready to own it?
